Time to retune the old name

Hi all - I started this site mainly as a travel journal a few years back when I first went to Bulgaria for a work assignment.  Since I was living asynchronously with all my friends back home, it was easier to post updates here rather than to do email bursts (which would eventually end up in a trash can somewhere anyway). 

So, along came Borked.  I'd thought to put in some bits of code and advice here and there, but having gone into management I find my hands-on coding time rapidly dropped to nil.  I'm mildly saddened by that.  But, I do find that I spend time writing in another language for fun these days - English. 

I'm now hosting this as a chance to get some writing out on the net so my friends can get at it and so I can have my own place instead of that annoying Facebook page, or some measly crap editor at the Wizards site.  This way, if something goes askew, it's up to me to fix it.
