Welcome to BorkedCode.com - I'm your host, Tom Theobald.

Update - I've had a new blog installed (see "Borking Blog" above and to right), and will start writing a bit more often now. Yeah, smart alecs, that means more often than "not at all." Note - it will redirect you to a different server, which is what it's supposed to do. The blog is running on a Unix box, while this main page is on a Windows one. For those of you who get the message "this site is trying to redirect you", you can tell it "OK."

This site was originally created as a touch-base site for engineers and a select few others with whom I've worked, as a place where we can all stay in contact as we move to different positions.  Got a story?  Share it!  Got a techie question?  Ask it!

By the way - "Borked" is a polite way of phrasing that the code in reference is thoroughly worthless, by the way - so if you're in polite company and sharing one of those moments from work and just have to describe how badly written something was, Borked will do.  I'll come up with an official definition sooner or later.  Maybe even make a contest out of it.  If we're lucky, we'll make it into Webster's.

That said, I'm glad you're here, and look forward to hearing your stories from Borkdom!
